The Master’s in Ocean Energy Engineering is an advanced postgraduate program that focuses on the development, utilization, and management of renewable energy resources derived from ocean environments. The curriculum covers key areas such as offshore wind energy, wave energy, tidal energy, ocean thermal energy conversion (OTEC), marine energy systems, offshore structures, energy storage technologies, and sustainable energy engineering. Students develop advanced technical and research skills through laboratory work, computational modeling, field studies, and industry-oriented projects that address the challenges of harnessing ocean-based energy resources efficiently and sustainably. The program emphasizes innovation, environmental responsibility, and the application of engineering principles to support the transition toward clean and renewable energy sources. Graduates are prepared for careers in renewable energy industries, offshore energy development, marine engineering, research institutions, government agencies, and organizations involved in sustainable energy technologies.
