A Master’s in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineering is a postgraduate program focused on advanced study of cooling technologies, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems, thermal engineering, and energy-efficient climate control solutions. The program covers key areas such as refrigeration cycles, heat transfer, thermodynamics, psychrometrics, compressor and refrigeration system design, HVAC system optimization, cold chain logistics, and sustainable cooling technologies. Students also study modern developments like smart HVAC systems, IoT-based building climate control, green refrigerants, and energy management in buildings and industrial systems. The program combines theoretical knowledge with practical training in system design, simulation, and maintenance of refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment. Graduates are prepared for careers in HVAC design firms, construction and infrastructure companies, manufacturing industries, cold storage and food preservation sectors, and energy management organizations.
