The Korean Language Course at Kyung Hee University in Seoul, South Korea is a comprehensive, level-based program offered through the Korean Language Center (KLC) for international students and overseas Koreans who want to develop strong Korean language skills for everyday communication, academic study, business, or employment. The regular Korean Language Course runs each semester for 10 weeks (about 200 hours) with classes Monday–Friday, 4 hours per day, and students are placed into one of six levels (Levels 1–6) based on a placement test. The curriculum includes vocabulary, grammar, speaking, listening, reading, and writing, balancing practical use with communicative proficiency development. In addition to core language instruction, KLC offers support programs such as a 1:1 mentoring system with Korean students to help learners practice Korean and adapt to life in Korea, as well as cultural experience events every semester to broaden cultural understanding. Upon completing each term with satisfactory performance and attendance, students receive a certificate of completion and transcript, and the center also provides specialized courses such as intensive TOPIK preparation and academic Korean tailored for business administration or university admission goals.
