Since humans constantly process information to solve problems, computer engineering is a cutting-edge science that fundamentally and comprehensively studies computer technologies for storage, transmission, processing, and management of various types of information to improve human problem-solving capabilities. In particular, computer engineering is an attractive major that creatively and effectively solves a given problem through computational and logical thinking, and systematic problem solving methods. It is the most ideal field of academia that can drive industrial growth and enrich human life through interdisciplinary, collaborative work demanded by the 4th industrial revolution.

Established in March 1996, the faculty aims to cultivate experts in the IT field who will lead the information society by providing the students with systematic education to cultivate professional knowledge and practical skills in the computer field and whole-person education based on the Christian spirit.
