On this BA (Hons) Geography, you’ll investigate the reciprocal and ever-changing relationship between human society and the natural world. Learn about social, political, economic and environmental geography, in a global context whilst also exploring our regional geography that has a rich history of industrialisation, colonialism, language and identity. The physical and societal impacts of Eryri’s slate quarries, which ‘roofed the 19th Century world’ are clear to see, but you will also learn about regeneration and green economies.

At Bangor, you don’t have to study human or physical geography exclusively. Our wide range of specialist modules give you flexibility to explore the topics that interest you most,across the discipline. Current options range from space and identity to sustainability and governance, as well as geohazards or catchment management.
