On this BSc (Hons) Electronic Engineering, you’ll gain a thorough grounding in all the latest techniques in analogue and digital electronics. At the same time, you’ll be developing professional and academic skills, including best practice project management and intensive preparation in maths and science for electronics.
Previously, for example, first year students have built an audio graphic equalizer and, in the second year, an FM transmitter or metal detector. You can also undertake your final project in collaboration with industry or our researchers.
We offer four undergraduate degree courses in Electronic Engineering, leading to a BSc (Bachelor of Science), a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) or Master of Engineering (MEng). This three-year BSc (Hons) Electronic Engineering, the three-year BEng (Hons) Electronic Engineering, a four-year BEng (Hons) Electronic Engineering (with Foundation Year), and a four-year integratged MEng Electronic Engineering.
