The additional fourth year of this integrated master’s in Zoology with Primatology allows you to achieve a master’s-level qualification and conduct an extended research project. Should your plans change, you can also graduate with a BSc (Hons) at the end of the third year.
The only specialist course of its kind in the UK, this degree in Zoology with Herpetology provides opportunities to study lizards, frogs, geckos snakes and other animals in captivity and in their natural habitat. Our herpetarium is a UK Home Office accredited and inspected experimental animal facility.
Bangor University is a leading centre for teaching and research in herpetology, particularly venom and toxins: our staff have been researching snakes around the world for decades.
