Fashion BA at London Met is an excellent creative design degree in the heart of London and the fashion world. Taught by practitioners who are experts in the field with strong connections to the industry. During your studies you'll be taught in a dedicated fashion studio using industry standard equipment, allowing you to learn and develop your skills.

This degree course is endorsed by The Drapers Company who support and sponsor projects that promote traditional artisan skills and sustainable practices. Skills such as bespoke tailoring, leather design, corsetry and couture drape are at the heart of the luxury design industry. This course is one of the only creative fashion courses in the UK to invest in the delivery of all these integral design skills.

You'll design work that explores new and innovative ideas, contemporary cultures, environments and sustainable practices. Your design practice will be underpinned by technical skill and pattern cutting which wil enhance your collections and confidence to become a successful designer.

You'll have the opportunity to undertake live industry projects presented through live showcases. This is a central focus for the course and enables students to start promoting their work to a wider audience.

In your final year you'll have the chance to exhibit your portfolio and collections at the Graduate Fashion Week, gaining further industry and press exposure. We also encourage and help you to find placements to better understand the workplace, its pace and teamwork practices.
