The Department of Biomedical Engineering at Strathclyde is one of the oldest and most esteemed departments globally. On the MSc you'll receive broad, multidisciplinary training in modern biomedical engineering - across engineering, medicine and the life and physical sciences - to help you build a future career in research, industry or in the NHS.

The programme explores advances in technology and engineering to generate applications and solutions to clinically relevant problems.

As part of the course, you’ll attend lectures from industrialists, clinicians and visiting experts from the UK and overseas. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet our many industrial and clinical partners to help advise and further your career.

55-60% Honours degree, or equivalent, in engineering, physical science, life science, medicine, or a profession allied to medicine.

Remarks

Entry requirement is first-class undergraduate degree (approx 60%) from a recognised Indian institution but they will accept 55% from University of Mumbai, University of Calcutta, University of Delhi, ITs and IIMs, etc. MOI is acceptable if student is from CBSE/CISCE background and IELTS is short by 0.5 Band in any section.
