What is landscape architecture?

Landscape architects design gardens, urban plazas, streetscapes, parks, resorts, trails, golf courses, subdivisions and more. You will learn to develop detailed landscape plans that are aesthetically pleasing, functional and compatible with the built and natural environment.

The design process involves creative expression that comes from an understanding of the landscape context, natural systems, cultural systems and social dynamics.
