Accomodation
On-Campus Accommodation
Campus accommodation is taken care of by the mammoth USC Village, a 1.25-million-square-foot residential and retail centre directly adjacent to USC's University Park campus. Situated on 15 acres of university-owned land, the USC village has over 130,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor, with student housing on the four floors above.
It also includes a Trader Joe's, a Target, a fitness centre, restaurants, and outdoor dining, 400 retail parking spots, a community room, and housing for over 2,700 students. Providing everything a student can ask for in terms of connectivity and housing, the USC Village is the first and foremost choice for international students looking for a second home.
Estimated yearly living expenses (for suite and residence hall double room types) including two semesters of rent, default required full meal plans and optional parking, range from 14,559 to 19,609 USD for freshmen and 12,335 to 14,835 USD for upperclassmen. Rents for some assignments, especially single-occupancy room types, are higher.
Off-Campus Accommodation
USC offers an official off-campus housing directory, where students can find a perfect fit for their needs. Maintained, verified and approved by a diligent team of campus managers, the directory allows you to filter your searches by selecting an area, a number of bedrooms & bathrooms, and maximum rent. Advanced searches include distance to campus, zone, term, start-end price, among others.
Additionally, USC Housing has partnered with Off-Campus Housing 101 to provide students with listings of all available rentals from private landlords near both university campuses. All of these listings are within the USC Department of Public Safety Patrol Zone and offer consistent customer support to assist all students in obtaining their private rental housing.
