Parkland College is a public institution that was established in 1973. Dwayne Reeve is their Chief Executive Officer. Parkland College is affiliated to CICan, University of Saskatchewan, University of Regina, and Saskatchewan Polytechnic. Parkland College has around 228 administrative staff members. Their mission and vision are to achieve, innovate, advance, and grow.
Parkland College's main campus is situated at Yorkton. It also has the Trades and Technology Center. Yorkton is located to the southeast of Saskatchewan. The motto of this city is “Where good Things Happen”. The college also has a campus at Canora. It is located 50 km north of Yorkton City. The motto of this city is “Heart of Good Spirit Country”. The fourth campus of Parkland is located at Esterhazy which is to the southeast of Yorkton.
The fifth campus of Parkland is at Fort Qu'Apelle. Parkland has two more campuses at Kamsack and Melville. Programs offered at Parkland College include subjects like Adult Basic Education, Diploma in Agribusiness, Anatomy and Physiology, Business Certificate, Diploma in Business Management, Cannabis Workplace Safety for Employees, and Certified Crop Advisor. It also offers courses in Computer Training, Conversational Ukrainian, Dentistry, Emotional Intelligence, Essential Skills Training, Fall Protection, Fireman's Level Prep Course, Fundamentals of Welding, Geography, Ground Disturbance, Heavy Equipment Operator Certificate and Industrial Mechanic.
Besides, the college offers study programs in Journalism, Justice, Literacy Services, Microsoft Project Training, Medical Terminology, Northern Studies, Nursing, Nutrition and Pharmacy, Optometry, Personality Dimensions, Project Management, Power Engineering, Sociology, and Veterinary Medicine.

Parkland College works towards enhancing the employability skills of students through its various courses that enable the students to find a job quickly. Many companies surrounding the college area offer practical opportunities as well as actively recruit graduates as they are educated to standards set by them.
Scholarships
- The College offers merit and need-based scholarships and awards based on academic performance, activities, community service, and status of the student at Parkland.
- Parkland college internal scholarships are offered to full-time students to those who fulfill the eligibility criteria. 60 awards of 50,000 CAD are available in the category.
- The scholarship money is disbursed twice every year and one applicant can not apply for more than three awards, though the selection committee can make exceptions.
- Entrance scholarships are offered to first-year full-time students taking admission skills training areas ( like trades, health, business, etc.).
- Saskatchewan advantage scholarships are need-based scholarships and those who are successfully able to demonstrate the need for financial support are awarded these scholarships.
- The University helps in finding the work to support the students financially and provides some need-based aid too.
