University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) is a small, research-intensive university with its main campus in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada and other regional campuses in northern British Columbia in Prince Rupert, Terrace, Quesnel and Fort St. George. The university was established on June 22, 1990 after the British Columbia legislature passed the UNBC Act. In 2007 it was recognized as Canada’s Green University.

UNBC admissions are offered in more than 60 undergraduate degrees and also a wide range of graduate programs. in the domains of health, economies, sciences, environment, and cultures and is one of Canada’s best small universities. Total students enrolled in UNBC programs – 3,570 while the total undergraduate students enrolled were 2,829 (for the year 2019/20).
