California Institute of Technology is an independent, private, world-renowned science and engineering institute founded in 1891. Caltech, as it is popularly called, manages NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) located seven miles north of the campus. Accomodation

  • The institute guarantees housing for all first-year graduate students and all freshmen and second-year undergraduate students.
  • It offers a full range of on-campus housing options to Undergraduate and graduate students
  • There’s a mix of single, double, and triple-bedrooms in nine undergraduates’ residence housing.
  • Institute-owned off-campus lease housing is available in four-bedrooms, three-bedrooms, two-bedrooms, one-bedroom apartments or studios to graduate students.
  • Leased graduate housing is not furnished but has basic amenities like carpeting, window coverings, refrigerator and stove are available at a range of 995 USD to 1,465 USD per month
