Embry?Riddle Aeronautical University – Daytona Beach Campus has an On-Campus Housing Requirement for our students. This policy requires new students – all incoming first-year and transfer students under the age of 21 before September 1 – to reside in ERAU managed housing (henceforth referred to as “HRL”) for two full academic years (fall and spring semesters). Students who start at ERAU in the Spring semester of their first academic year will count that Spring semester as meeting year one of the two-year requirement.

Students can be exempt the On-Campus Housing Requirement if they meet one of the following exemption reasons:

• Student lives at an address within a 50-mile driving distance of the Daytona Beach campus
  • Student and guardian must have lived at the address for a full calendar year prior to starting classes at the University.
  • Documentation establishing permanent residency at the address is required.
• Student is 21 years of age or older by September 1 of the required contract year
  • No documentation required after admission to ERAU

Housing and Residence Life staff strive to support a positive living and learning environment through programs and events in the residence halls. Living on campus will keep you involved with the university and connected to new friends.

Placement

Opportunities for work experience through co-ops and internships abound, with 305 Daytona Beach Campus students and 185 Prescott Campus students awarded positions for credit during the 2021-2022 academic year.

Note: Students are selected for internships in a variety of ways, including websites, conferences, networking and expos (not all through the Career Services Office). If the student does not want/need credit, or the company does not require that the student be registered with their university co-op/intern program, the Career Services Office will not see the student to capture their experience.

In association with the Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA) Embry?Riddle offers part-time, blended delivery graduate programs specifically for working professionals. Our newest partnership with ERC Institute enables Embry?Riddle to offer part-time and full-time undergraduate degrees to students looking to earn their bachelor’s degree both while working or before entering the workforce. The partnership with ERC Institute also enable Embry?Riddle to bring international students from the surrounding region to Singapore to earn a degree.
