We guarantee an offer of single University accommodation for your first year (and for all years for international undergraduates), as long as you apply by the deadline. 

Living in University accommodation in your first year is a great introduction to student life. It’s a fantastic way to make new friends and experience a new city or even a new country and culture.  

We’ve got an impressive range of accommodation, from modern, purpose-built apartments to converted mansions. There are catered and self-catered options and residences with en-suite or shared bathrooms. Most are located off campus, close to the city centre or in the popular student areas of Headingley and Hyde Park.  

There are lots of other benefits to living in our University accommodation, including free gym membership and no utility bills to pay. 

Placement

You decide if you want to undertake?a year in industry. We help you by offering support, including?the option to take a second-year module,?From Study to Work, which develops your job-seeking skills.

With our guidance and support, you’ll apply independently to employers following their recruitment processes and timelines. During your placement year you will complete a Training in the Workplace module which gives you the chance to reflect and write about your work goals, values and skills development during the work placement.
