The School of Law aims to foster excellent legal professionals who can contribute to the development of Korea and the world in regards to the fields of law, public services, business, journalism, and academia. The school develops the abilities of the students in regards to solving legal problems that might occur in the future. These problems include areas, such as corporate management, mass media, and engineering. The undergraduate program of the School of Law is a type of prep school for law schools. The students are initially required to study the six basic laws, which include civil law, penal law, and the constitution. After that, they select their own specialty in a specific legal area, such as finance and intellectual property, which systematically prepares them for the law school entrance exam. For the students who do not want to enter law school, they have the option to take a double major with business administration, mass communication, and engineering, which allows them to have an upper hand in regards to preparing for the civil service exam or job searching in the corporate sector by using their knowledge about laws as an advantage. The School of Law seeks to nurture the experts that the 21st century demands.
