The Department of Environment, Energy and Geoinformatics covers a hybridized research field via the fusion of various fields such as sustainable management of the natural environment (e.g., hydro resources, air and soil), mitigation of and adaption to climate change, environmental pollution treatment processes, generation of renewable energy, digital mapping, space information processing using GNSS or GIS. Through these research activities, the Department of Environment, Energy and Geoinformatics aims to foster creative talent who have expert knowledge to systematically manage and utilize public environmental infrastructure as well as solve global environmental problems.
