Current world developments - such as security and cybersecurity threats, changes of leadership, the emergence of new powers and the evolving nature of international politics - present fresh challenges to governments, regions and the international system as a whole.
During this course, you’ll study these topics in depth. You’ll look closely at the politics and policymaking of major nations across the planet, as well as the interplay of power between these countries and how order is maintained and managed by institutions.
By the end of your studies, you’ll have gained the analytical skills and theoretical knowledge to be able to unpack and detect the causes and consequences of specific political problems, and the different political processes that have generated them.
