With the Bachelor’s Degree Course in Fashion Design & Accessories, students receive all-round training in the creation and development of a collection. Students are required to spend a large part of their educational path in the research activity, in order to develop their own personal concept up to the final construction of a catwalk collection. This will enable participants to design and build a sophisticated and advanced project ready to be marketed.
The three-year bachelor’s degree course is designed to teach students to design and build an entire fashion show collection, also assessing its production costs with a strong focus on circularity and sustainability as the main drivers for the future development of the fashion system.
Students are encouraged to work in groups from the very first year, providing them with specific skills, including:
- the ideation and realization of collections with a strong creative component
- the creation of designs and illustrations of fashion products based on extensive research into iconography and shapes and volumes
- the use of modelling techniques to create new details and develop innovative shapes
- the creation of technical drawings and 3D illustrations for the professional presentation of clothing and accessories.
