The Hospitality industry comprises the hotel / lodging, restaurant/ food and convention/MICE(Meeting, Incentive, convention, exhibition and event) sectors. This field has positive impact on industry development and plays a role in infrastructure. When viewed outside a travel perspective, the hospitality industry enhances daily quality of life by providing unique experiences. The convention industry creates high value - added industries, such as international conferences, exhibitions and others.
The purpose of the Hospitality Management program is to provide academic, practical, and hands-on exploration of the field. Furthermore, its purpose is to cultivate future managers with competencies and qualities.
In 2023, three existing majors (Hotel Management, Convention Management, Foodservice Management) have been integrated into a single department. As a result, the department will operate tracks that cultivate flexible thinking and professionalism. Ultimately, the goal is to foster global leaders who can drive change and innovation forward.
