The Bachelor of Communication in Media Productions at UOW Malaysia (Glenmarie, Selangor campus) is designed to equip students with knowledge, competencies and skills that will prepare them to be professionals who are able to contribute to the local and international media and communication industries.
The program is designed to empower students with technical knowledge as well as life long and entrepreneurial skills.
The program is suitable for individuals with strong inquisitive minds, who value the experience of meeting new people and learning new experiences, and sharing it to the world.
The program covers an array of core and specialized subjects, delivered by lecturers with both academic and professional experiences. In the final year of their studies, students will be sent for an internship at reputable media companies in Malaysia.
The program is a unique communication studies program that focuses on all theoretical and practical aspects of media production.
Students in the program utilize UOW Malaysia’s state-of-art broadcasting and media facilities at the Utropolis, Glenmarie campus. They are also given the opportunity to manage UOW Malaysia’s Radio Station and Broadcasting Centre, and to participate in various media production events and competitions.
