Sunway University’s Master of Science in Applied Mathematics is an interdisciplinary field that focuses on the application of mathematics, statistics, and computational methods to intelligently model and describe the behavior of real world’s complex systems.

The School of Mathematical Sciences (SMS) has experienced Professors, Associate Professors, and Senior Lecturers to deliver all the modules, and a supportive team to assist students in their study. This includes having a professor who is a World Top 2% Scientist, with a strong network with researchers from various parts of the world, particularly ASEAN and China. This professor has an excellent track record in optimization and optimal control, leading the team in the teaching and delivery of the modules.
