The qualifying Master's Degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Human Sciences is designed to integrate, within an English-taught excellence program, all the psychological competencies present in the universities of Pavia (University of Pavia and IUSS – University School for Advanced Studies Pavia).
In this Master's degree program, knowledge in psychology and neuroscience is effectively complemented by modules in the humanities and social sciences. The program is characterized by extensive collaboration between psychology and the fields of neurophysiology and neuroscience, as well as between various humanities and social science areas.
The use of English as the language of instruction and the collaboration between the University of Pavia and IUSS enhance the potential to attract international students, fostering a broad international perspective. The integration of psychological processes, recent neuroscientific discoveries, and topics from the humanities and social sciences will be the distinctive feature of this degree program.
The program will allow, through the procedures established by law, enrollment in the Italian Register of Psychologists, enabling full professional practice, as well as the possibility of further studies and psychological training (Master's degrees, Advanced Courses, Specialization Schools, PhD programs, Register of Psychotherapists).
NOTE: The university may have additional program-specific eligibility requirements.
It is recommended to verify these on the official university website.
