Seoul National University of Science and Technology (SeoulTech) does not have a traditional Medicine school (like an undergraduate M.D. program) that trains physicians in clinical practice. However, it does offer advanced medical science education and research opportunities at the graduate level through a specialized collaboration: the Graduate School of SeoulTech-KIRAMS Medical Sciences.
The SeoulTech-KIRAMS Graduate School of Medical Sciences was established in partnership with the Korea Institute of Radiological and Medical Sciences (KIRAMS) to foster talent in medical and biomedical research. This graduate school focuses on developing expertise in cutting-edge areas such as basic biomedical science, new drug development, diagnostics and clinical technology, radiation diagnosis and therapy, and medical policy and regulation. The curriculum integrates disciplines like biology, genetics, immunology, biophysics, medical devices, AI-based drug design, and regulatory science to prepare students for research leadership in medical technology and science innovation. Students can enter this program to pursue research-oriented careers in fields related to medicine, healthcare technology, and biomedical sciences rather than traditional physician training.
NOTE: The university may have additional program-specific eligibility requirements. It is recommended to verify these on the official university website
