Program Structure & Duration
The MBBS program is 6 years long, generally structured as 5 years of medical coursework followed by at least 1 year of clinical internship in affiliated hospitals. The medium of instruction is English, with additional Chinese language support to help students adapt to clinical environments.
Curriculum & Training
The curriculum covers a wide range of foundational and clinical medical sciences. Early years focus on basic medical subjects such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, and pathology, while later years emphasize clinical disciplines like internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, psychiatry, and more. The final year is devoted to hospital rotations and practical clinical experience.
Clinical Internship
Students complete at least 48 weeks of hands-on training in various departments of affiliated hospitals, giving practical exposure in major fields of medicine required for licensing examinations.
