The PhD in Design and Construction of Naval Architecture and Ocean Structure at Harbin Engineering University (HEU) is a four-year, research-intensive doctoral programme offered by the College of Shipbuilding Engineering, one of China’s leading centres for naval architecture and ocean engineering education and research where the discipline ranks first nationally. This programme is open to both domestic and international students and can be pursued with English-medium instruction.

This PhD is geared toward training high-level researchers and technical experts who can make original contributions to the marine and shipbuilding sectors. Candidates begin with advanced coursework and seminars and then focus on independent, original research under the supervision of faculty specialists.
