The Power Electronics and Power Drives program at Wuhan University of Technology is an engineering discipline focused on the theory, design and application of power electronic systems and electric drive technologies used to efficiently control and convert electrical energy in modern electrical and industrial systems. The curriculum combines core electrical engineering fundamentals—such as circuit theory, control systems, power electronics, electric machines and drives—with specialised study in converter topologies, motor control techniques, power semiconductor devices and energy-efficient drive systems.
