The Land Resource Management (土地资源管理) program at Nanjing Agricultural University is a four-year undergraduate major that trains students to understand, plan, use and protect land resources in an efficient, sustainable and scientifically informed way. The curriculum integrates land surveying and mapping, soil science, geographic information systems (GIS), land use planning, environmental management and policy analysis, giving students the technical and analytical skills needed to assess land conditions, monitor resource changes, design land use plans, and support decision-making for urban, rural and agricultural development. Through a combination of classroom instruction, field surveys, lab work and practical projects, students develop expertise in land evaluation, spatial data analysis, land conservation and policy implementation. Graduates are prepared for careers in government agencies, planning and consulting firms, environmental organizations, land management departments and research institutions, where they contribute to sustainable land use, resource protection, ecological restoration and informed regional development.
