MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) at Shantou University is an internationally oriented medical program designed to train competent physicians with strong theoretical knowledge, clinical skills, and professional ethics. The program is offered through the Shantou University Medical College (SUMC) and follows global standards of medical education to prepare students for medical practice and postgraduate training worldwide.

The program is typically a 6-year full-time course, including about 5 years of academic study and 1 year of clinical internship in affiliated teaching hospitals.
