The aim of the programme is to train geologists and geophysical engineers with expertise in geology, geophysics and geoinformatics. They will have skills necessary for the prospecting and exploration of geological structures and mineral resources, assessing mineral resources and reserves, conducting environmental geological surveys and identifying environmental pollution.

B2 Level English is Required - MOI is Accepted. The entrance examination has four stages. First, applicants undergo eligibility screening through the DreamApply system, and those without a relevant bachelor’s degree or B2-level English proficiency (or proof of studies in English) are filtered out. Next, documents are assessed for up to 30 points, awarded for academic and work background based on transcripts (15 points), motivation letter (10 points), and the ranking of the previous university (5 points). This is followed by a 20–30 minute online entrance exam evaluating management and professional knowledge, thesis or project work experience, and spoken language skills, worth up to 70 points. In the final evaluation, applicants who achieve at least 60 out of 100 points will be admitted to the programme.
