Year 0 in games development encourages creativity, imagination and new ways of making, thinking and documenting.
The course focuses on giving students a solid understanding of games development, the creative process, and the technical knowledge to realise it.
The course explores the contemporary gaming industry across a broad range of experiences – from the latest console blockbusters to virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR).
Extra Notes
Students should ideally have a background in art, creative media or design. Applicants are expected to submit a portfolio of work which shows a range of their skills and demonstrates why they would be a good fit for the course.We may also consider a combination of portfolio and academic qualifications and take into consideration progress made during studies and/or relevant work experience.
