What is marketing?
Marketing is fundamentally about building relationships and trust to help customers solve their problems in ways that benefit everyone. In the course of doing this, marketers do research, use analytics, create and manage many types of communication, engage in and manage professional selling, determine pricing strategies and develop distribution channels.

Marketers play an important and strategic role in the organizations they serve, from helping determine strategic direction, providing key leadership, engaging customers, driving revenue to launching innovative new products and services.
