At WPI, your psychology courses will span many disciplines, including social sciences, psychological sciences, mathematics, and engineering. You’ll apply what you’ve learned to modern challenges in policy, criminal justice, environmental issues, law, business, and education. Undergraduates routinely join faculty-led research in our state-of-the-art labs and present the findings at conferences.
Your understanding of biology, behavior, ethics, and technology sets the foundation for a career in which critical thinking and having a broader view of complex psychological and technological issues is vital.
Additionally, our research labs give students opportunities for hands-on research and a chance to act as both a participant and a researcher. Our labs include the Educational Psychology Lab, where students decipher data, and the Social Psychology Inquiry (SPI) lab, where a diverse student population participates in and leads experiments.
