The programme, taught entirely in English, offers an interdisciplinary approach that combines history, political thought, anthropology and geography, and aims to provide the tools and skills required to gain an in-depth understanding of the historical dimension of globalisation processes.
It is organised in such a way as to offer and harmonise interdisciplinary theoretical-methodological skills and knowledge useful for the critical and non-Eurocentric analysis of the relationship between cultural areas and globalisation processes. You will be able to explore the relationships between the global and local dimensions and the historical, political, social and cultural implications of globalisation processes.
The programme encourages experiences abroad within the framework of the Erasmus+ and Overseas schemes, with the possibility of obtaining a double degree at Bielefeld University, Germany, as part of the Bielefeld Graduate School in History and Sociology, an internationally recognised research centre and a place of lively scientific debate.
NOTE: The university may have additional program-specific eligibility requirements.
It is recommended to verify these on the official university website.
