The programme offers an in-depth training to cope successfully with the challenges of life sciences. Graduates will work in Universities, Research Institutions, hospitals, pharmaceutical, food, chemical and biotechnology companies, laboratories of analyses in biomedical and environmental fields, agencies for scientific research and scientific dissemination.
The degree includes courses ranging from molecular biology and genetics, to biochemistry, microbiology and physiology. A plurality of disciplinary sectors all focused on the molecular approach to studies of the mechanisms governing the life of plants and animals. Many courses include laboratory activities to teach from a practical point of view the experimental approaches to biological studies.
As part of experiences abroad, the programme offers the possibility of carrying out internships at international organizations and participating in exchange programmes. These experiences offer direct contact with international research centres, providing a concrete advantage in the international world of scientific research.
