The master's degree Course in "Architecture - Regeneration of Built Environment (ARBE)", entirely held in English, welcomes both Italian and foreign students and trains architects capable of providing culturally and technically appropriate answers to the challenges of the next future: first of all , those related to climate change and reduction of soil consumption, that represent a priority goal today, not only in Europe. To this end, the course provides the theoretical and technical skills needed to design, implement and manage regeneration interventions on existing buildings and urban fabrics, with specific attention to those built during the second half of the twentieth century. In fact, the challenges of the near future require architects with renewed skills and technical skills useful to rethink what already exists, by re-designing, recovering and reusing, in a multi-scalar perspective, degraded and abandoned buildings, areas, public spaces and green areas.
