Academic Eligibility: The Master of Engineering is offered as either a 2-year or 3-year program, depending upon prior qualifications of students.1. Prior qualification: An engineering degree from the University of Melbourne (2 years)If students hold one of the following engineering pathway degrees from the University of Melbourne, with a weighted average mark of at least H3 (65%), they will be eligible to enter the 2-year program:
- Bachelor of Design with a Mechanical Systems major
- Bachelor of Science with a Mechanical Systems major
- The equivalent of 25 points (two subjects) of first-year mathematics, specifically Calculus 2 and Linear Algebra, or equivalent.
- The equivalent of 25 points of Physics, or equivalent
- With a weighted average mark of at least H3 (65%), or equivalent.
- Students do not require any kind of work experience for this particular program.
- If students have any work experience then the chances of accepting the applications are more.
