Program Description

  • Bachelor of Arts in Supply Chain Management at Cape Breton University is offered as a 4-year teaching program.
    • This bachelor program has a co-op work option.
    • In order to be eligible to participate in a full-time Co-op Work Term, students must meet the GPA requirements.
    • The student to faculty ratio is 16:1 which bridges the gap between faculty and students.

    • Students the opportunity to focus on supply chain management theory and practice, providing them with the foundations for understanding today’s global economy.
    • Develop an understanding of potential risks in global sourcing, including hidden costs of working alongside different geopolitical zones, cultural differences, time zones, currency exchange, and exposure to financial and political risks in some emerging economies.
    • Learn to identify potential markets, tap into skills or resources not readily or economically available on a local level, and develop alternative collaborators to achieve goals.
    • Career positions may include: 
      • Supply Chain Analyst
      • Procurement Specialist
      • General Management and Business, etc with an average salary of 36,475 USD per year.

    Eligibility & Entry Requirement

    Academic Eligibility:
    • A Candidate needed to provide Senior School Certificate or School certificate awarded after standard XII.
    • English and Maths (advanced or academic level) are required in grade 12.
    • 12-grade additional three courses (advanced or academic level) are needed.
    Indian Student Eligibility:
    Indian students need to maintain an overall average of 60% in their 12th grade for admission in this Program.Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
