Program Description

Master of Architecture at the School of Graduate Studies, University of Toronto is offered a 4-years (7 sessions) program. This course is offered on a full-time basis. This program provides a thorough base of knowledge in history, theory, technology, ecology, society, and professional practice. The student will develop skills in design through an intensive sequence of design studio courses. The program aims to develop critical, creative, and independent thinking and research that responds to current design issues and societal changes. The faculty and student ratio for this program is 1:19. In this course, the Greater Toronto region is used as an urban laboratory for the development of new knowledge and forms of practice. Other Requirements

An appropriate bachelor's degree (BA, BSc, BASc, BES, BFA, BCom) with a final-year grade point average of at least mid-B, and showing leadership potential in the field.
