The Environmental Engineering for Symbiosis major is designed to foster creative engineers and researchers who can think and act by themselves to meet the latest social needs.

This major comprise the common courses, plus courses in four major fields: global environmental science, biosphere science, environmental response engineering, and sustainable environmental engineering. Postgraduate students can develop their knowledge in a wide range of areas depending on their specialized research fields. In addition, the English lectures are provided for foreign students and to help Japanese students to write their theses in English. This graduate school’s teaching staff provide research guidance concerning leading-edge environmental science and engineering.
